1 held with Tapentadol tablets in Chirirbandar

 RANGPUR, May 6, 2025 (BSS) - The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 arrested a suspected drug trader with 402 pieces of smuggled Tapentadol tablets from Photejangpur area of Chirirbandar upazila of Dinajpur on Monday.

 A press release today said that based on a tip-off, an operational team of the Crime Prevention Company (CPC)-2 of RAB-13 from Nilphamari Camp in a raid arrested the man with contraband Tapentadol tablets from the scene at 5:05 pm.

 The detainee is Md Mukul Sarkar, 37, son of Mohammad Islam of village Swashkandar under Saidpur police station in Nilphamari district.

 "The elite force handed over the arrested person to Chirirbandar police station in Dinajpur for further legal action," the release added.
