DHAKA, May 6, 2025 (BSS) - Police, in a series of special drives, have arrested 20 individuals involved in various crimes from different parts of the capital's Mohammadpur area. 

Mohammadpur Police Station under Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) conducted the drives on Monday and rounded up the individuals, said a DMP media release today.
 
The arrestees were identified as Tariqul Islam (28), Ekramul (30), Shahria (23), Kamrul (35), Milan (21), Nayan (34), Tuhin (33), Sharif (20), Zahurul (26), Ruhul Amin (20), Miraj (41), Abul Kalam (35), Ayub (19), Jisan (25), Limon (25), Zubayer (25), Rabiul (27), Sayeed (27), Jahangir (28) and Jamal (24).

The arrested include professional thieves, outstanding warranted accused and criminals involved in various crimes.

They were produced before the court, the release added.
