Mirza Fakhrul condoles deaths of eight people in Narore accident

DHAKA, July 24, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has expressed profound shock and sorrow at the deaths of eight people including seven members of a same family and the microbus driver in an accident in Natore on Wednesday. 

 
Seven members of the family of BNP's senior joint secretary general of Adabaria of Doulatpur Upazila in Kushtia district Md Shadidul Islam Farazi including his wife, brother and sister killed in the head-on collision with a truck and microbus in on the Bonpara-Hatikumrul highway in Natore's Boraigram Upazila. 

 
The deceased were identified as Md Jahidul Islam, 65, his wife Sheli Begum, 60, his sister-in-law Eti Begum, 40, relatives Shima Khatun, 40, Anwara Begum Anu, 55, Anjumanara Begum, 75, and Anjumanara's sister Anna Khatun, 60 -- all from Dharmadah village of Daulatpur upazila in Kushtia.

 
In the message of condolence, Fakhrul said, "I have no words to mourn the traffic accident as seven people of the same family were killed in the mishap. How pathetic the incident is for the family members."

 
The BNP Secretary General prayed for peace for the departed souls and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members. 

  
He has sought blessings from the almighty Allah as the family members of the deceased can bear the loss of their near and dear ones.
