Gayeshwar visits house of Milestone tragedy victim Anika

DHAKA, July 25, 2025 (BSS) - BNP National Standing Committee member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy today visited the residence of Nusrat Jahan Anika, a third grader at Milestone School and College, who lost her life in the tragic fighter jet crash and subsequent fire on the school premises on July 21.

The senior BNP leader went to the house of the deceased, located at Rupa Miah Residential Area in Diabari circle of the capital's Uttara, this morning on the directive of the party's acting chairman Tarique Rahman.

Gayeshwar expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family and stood beside them in their moment of grief.

Anika's father Abul Hossain and other family members became emotional during the visit.

Among others, BNP Dhaka north city unit member secretary Mostafa Zaman and joint conveners SM Jahangir Hossain and M Kafil Uddin were also present.
