BNP stands by families of plane crash victims in Tangail

TANGAIL, July 28, 2025 (BSS) - A BNP delegation met the bereaved families of Tanvir Ahmed and Nusrat Jahan Anik, who died in the recent jet crash at Milestone School and College in the capital's Uttara area.

Under the direction of BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman, the delegation led by BNP Vice Chairman Abdus Salam Pintu visited Tanvir's residence in Mirzapur upazila and Nusrat's residence in Sakhipur upazila, on Sunday and expressed condolences, according to a Facebook post from the BNP's media cell.

The delegation included BNP Executive Committee Children's Affairs Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Siddiqui, District Unit BNP President Hasanuzzamil Shaheen, General Secretary Advocate Farhad Iqbal, Mirzapur Upazila Unit BNP Acting President Advocate Abdur Rauf, Sakhipur Upazila Unit BNP President Bir Muktijoddha Shajahan Saju, DAB leader Dr Shah Alam, among others.
