BNP stands by all martyred families: Morshed Khan

DHAKA, July 29, 2025 (BSS) - Mass Education Affairs Secretary of BNP Prof.  Dr. Morshed Hasan Khan today said BNP has stood by all martyred families and would remain the same in future.
 
Prof Khan, also Dhaka University Teachers’ White Panel convener, said BNP's Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has stood by the children of the families of victims, who have disappeared in the past 15 years.

He (Tarique Rahman) has also taken all kinds of responsibilities of the children including their educational expenses, Khan said.
 
He made the remarks while speaking at a special programme styled ‘Democratic March-Children' and ‘March in Honourng the Martyred Families’ organized marking the first anniversary of the July-August mass-uprising by the BNP today. 
 
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir was present at the event as the chief guest with Atiqur Rahman, convener of 'Amra BNP Paribar' in the chair.
 
Referring to various programs undertaken in the last 15 years to realize children's rights, he said the BNP has been working tirelessly to protect children's rights, ensure education, health and social security.
 
This organization has been making a very positive contribution to the development of children through holding various programmes.
 
Besides, BNP has taken various activities to pay tribute to the martyrs’ families, he added.
