BNP dissolves Ctg North convening committee

DHAKA, July 30, 2025 (BSS) - The BNP has dissolved its Chattogram North district unit convening committee.

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi today said a committee will be formed soon, said a press release.

In another press release, BNP has expelled two leaders of Baliadangi upazila BNP of Takurgaon district following a clash on July 12.

The expelled leaders are BNP Baliadangi upazila unit former acting president Advocate Md Syed Alam and general secretary candidate Dr ATM Mahbubur Rahman.

They have been expelled from all levels of party positions, including primary member, for engaging in violent and indecent behavior, it added.
