DHAKA, July 30, 2025 (BSS) - Detective Branch (DB) of police in separate raids arrested two members of 'Kobjikata Anwar' group from the capital's Mohammadpur area. 

The arrested have been identified as Mohammad Nishat (22) and Mohammad Russell (23).

A team of the DB of Tejgaon Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested the duo in separate raids Nobodoy Beribad area and Nobodoy Kachcha Bazar area under Mohammadpur Police Station on Tuesday night, said a police press release. 

The detained Nishat was accused in two cases under the Narcotics and Terrorism Act and Russell in three cases of robbery and the DMP Act.
