Tarique Rahman expresses compassion to Milestone victim Tanvir's family

DHAKA, Aug 2, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP)'s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has expressed sympathy to the family members of Tanvir Ahmed, a student of Milestone School and College, who tragically died in a plane crash at his school in capital's Uttara.

A delegation of BNP leaders went to Tanvir's home at Nagarbhatgram Nayapara in Warshi Union of Mirzapur Upazila in Tangail District and offered prayers at his grave on Friday. 

Party's assistant secretary of cultural affairs of National Executive Committee Saidur Rahman Sayeed Sohrab condoled Tanvir's death and conveyed compassion to his family members on behalf of Tarique Rahman.

Municipal BNP President Hazrat Ali Miah and leaders and activists of BNP and its associated organizations present there, said a BNP's official media cell Facebook post.

The visiting BNP leaders also pledged continued support to Tanvir's bereaved family and urged the local people to rally together in solidarity.

Tanvir's tragic death in the recent jet crash has resonated deeply within the local and political communities, as his family and loved ones began to cope with the devastating loss.
