BNP's 31-points charter is inevitable for democracy: Abdul Halim

JAMALPUR, Aug 2, 2025 (BSS) - Adviser to BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and former Cabinet Secretary ASM Abdul Halim today emphasized that BNP's 31-point charter is crucial for restoring the nation's governance and strengthening democracy.

He stated that the implementation of this charter would reinforce democratic institutions across the country.

Halim made these remarks while distributing leaflets among residents in the remote Kasharidoba village of Islampur Upazila, urging the people to unite in support of BNP's acting Chairperson Tarique Rahman to build a democratic Bangladesh.

The meeting, chaired by Md Azizur Rahman Chowdhury, featured addresses from BNP leaders including Nabi Newaz Khan Lohani Bipul, Joynal Abedin Sarkar, Md Helal Uddin, Md Shafiq Selim and Md Zahurul Haque Farazi.
