DHAKA, Aug 02, 2025 (BSS)- Gazipur Metropolitan Police (GMP) will launch online general diary (GD) services in its all police stations from tomorrow, police headquarters said.

A release of the PHQ said, all types of GDs can be done online in all police stations of GMP from July 3.

Online GD service is being introduced in all police stations of the country at the directives of the Chief Adviser to simplify the police services, the release said. 
Currently, online GD services are available in Dhaka, Mymensingh, Sylhet, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong Ranges and in all police stations of Sylhet, Chittagong, Rangpur, Khulna, Barisal and Rajshahi Metropolitan Police.
 
Earlier, online service was open only for filing GD for loss and receipt.

To get online GD service, one should register name after downloading 'Online GD' app from Google Play Store. Such registration for a person is needed only one time.
