4979 cases lodged for traffic law violations in city

DHAKA, Aug 2, 2025 (BSS) - The traffic division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) filed 4979 cases in the last two days by conducting operations against traffic law violators in different areas of the capital Dhaka.

In addition, 311 vehicles were dumped and 120 vehicles were wrecked during the operations, said a DMP press release.

The DMP Traffic Division has vowed to continue its operations to maintain traffic discipline in the Dhaka Metropolitan areas.
