HABIGANJ, Aug 03, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Standing Committee Member Dr AZM Zahid Hossain today said the ousted fascist leader still now is hatching conspiracy against the country from abroad. 

“Fascists can destabilize the country at any time...So BNP leaders and activists must be on the streets. All conspiracies must be confronted,” he said while addressing the council of BNP Nabiganj upazila unit.

Hoping that the interim government will hold election in February next year, Zahid said the countrymen are eagerly waiting to exercise their voting rights. 

BNP Chairperson’s Adviser Dr Sakhawat Hasan Jiban inaugurated the council while central BNP Organising Secretary Jeke Gaouch addressed it as the key speaker.

BNP International Affairs Secretary Ahmed Ali Mukib and Sylhet Divisional Unit Assistant Organising Secretary Kalim Uddin Milan and Miftah Siddique, addressed the council as special guests with BNP Nabiganj upazila unit convener Sarafraj Ahmed Chowdhury in the chair.

BNP Habiganj district unit joint convener former lawmaker Sheikh Sujat Mia, joint convener Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury, BNP leaders Nurul Islam and Hazi Enamul Haque, among others, addressed the event.
