DU VC calls for inclusive society

DHAKA, August 4, 2025 (BSS) – Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Niaz Ahmed Khan today urged all to work together for building an inclusive society as part of social responsibility.

“Today we are a part of a new culture and tradition due to historical July Uprising. It increased our responsibility toward society. We now must advance for building an inclusive society,” the VC said while speaking as the chief guest at a seminar at the faculty of Business Studies today.

DU Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Sayema Haque Bidisha presented the keynote paper at the seminar titled “July Mass Uprising: Economic Suppression and Moral Degradation.”

Several more programs remembering the July Uprising were also held in other departments and faculties of the university.
