Thai Embassy introduces additional payment option for e-visa application

DHAKA, Aug 6, 2025 (BSS) - Thai Embassy in Dhaka has announced the introduction of additional online payment facilities for e-Visa applications, aimed at enhancing convenience for visa seekers in Bangladesh.

According to a statement issued by the embassy today, starting from September 1 next, applicants will be able to make payments securely through two designated banking platforms, Commercial Bank of Ceylon and Eastern Bank Limited (EBL).

The payment links for the respective platforms are - Commercial Bank of Ceylon: https://www.combank.net.bd/thaievisa and Eastern Bank Limited: https://onboarding.ebl-bd.com/thaipayment/start

The payment window will remain open from 09:00 to 12:00 hours on working days of the Embassy. 

Applicants are required to upload the Payment Information Summary (PIS) page to the e-Visa platform to facilitate verification by the Embassy.

The Embassy has urged applicants to strictly follow payment instructions.

As part of its efforts to maintain consistency with exchange rate fluctuations, the Embassy also indicated that some service fees in Bangladeshi Taka would be revised shortly. Further details will be disseminated through official channels in due course.

Appreciating the public’s cooperation, the Royal Thai Embassy reaffirmed its commitment to providing efficient and secure consular services for genuine travelers to Thailand.

The announcement underscores Thailand’s ongoing efforts to streamline visa procedures and bolster people-to-people connectivity between the two friendly nations.
