BNP wants to unite all parties in national interest: Salahuddin

DHAKA, Aug 7, 2025 (BSS)- Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) standing committee member Salahuddin Ahmed today said despite ideological differences among political parties, BNP is working to create an environment where everyone can sit together in national interest.

“BNP is a party of the masses. We want to create a harmonious political environment so that despite ideological and philosophical differences, political parties can sit together in the national interest,” he told journalists at his Gulshan residence.

Salahuddin said the people want the next election must be most transparent one. "If we all are committed to holding a neutral, fair, free and globally acceptable election, I don't think there will be any other concerns.”

The BNP leader said the Election Commission was formed unanimously, based on everyone's opinions.
