Jet Crash: Tarique inquires about family of victim Samir

DHAKA, Aug 8, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has recently conveyed deep condolences to the family of Samiul Karim Samir, a third-grade student of Milestone School and College, who tragically died when a plane crashed into the educational institution in the city's Uttara area.

Following directives from Tarique Rahman, senior BNP leaders visited the grieving family at their residence in the Baunia area of Turag on the outskirts of the capital, according to a statement from the party's media cell posted on its Facebook page.

BNP Standing Committee Member Nazrul Islam Khan and Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP Member Secretary Mustafa Zaman led the delegation.
They met the bereaved parents and conveyed heartfelt sympathies on behalf of the party's acting chairman.

Several other BNP leaders were also present during the visit, including Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP Joint Conveners Mostafizur Rahman Segun, SM Jahangir, and Abdul Razzak.
