Six DU JCD leaders relieved for suppression of facts

DHAKA, August 9, 2025(BSS)-The Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) central committee today relieved six of its Dhaka University (DU) leaders for suppressing facts.

A press release of the JCD signed by its Office Secretary Md Jahangir Alam said that the decision has already been approved by the Central President and General Secretary of the organization, Rakibul Islam Rakib and Nasir Uddin.

Those who were relieved from the organization are-Mosaddek Al Haque Shanto and Rakibul Hassan Saurav, convener and joint convener of Dr Muhammad Shahidullah Hall; Nitu Rani Saha, senior joint convener of Shamsunnahar Hall; Razu Sheikh, joint convener of Muktijoddha Ziaur Rahman Hall; and Ahmed Jabir Maham and N. S. Saymon, members of the convening committee of Haji Muhammad Mohsin Hall.

The JCD recently announced the convening committees of its different hall units of Dhaka University. There were allegations of suppressing facts against many of the nominated hall unit leaders.

The JCD central committee formed an inquiry committee in this regard, and they relieved those persons on the basis of the reports submitted by the inquiry committee.
