BNP leaders, activists visit Zia Village

MANIKGANJ, Aug 10, 2025 (BSS) – Leaders and activists of the Manikganj District BNP visited Zia Village, located in Nabagram under Manikganj Sadar upazila of the district, today.
 
Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman visited the village of Nabagram three times from 1977 to 1978 and declared Nabagram as his native village.
 
In memory of his visits, a children's park named "Zia Children Park" was built in the village on March 25, 1982.
 
Leaders of the Manikganj District BNP, including Afroza Khanam Rita, a member of the BNP Chairperson's Advisory Council and also the convener of the Manikganj District BNP, among others, visited the village.
