Two Siddhirganj thana BNP leaders expelled for anti-disciplinary acts

DHAKA, Aug 11, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has expelled its two leaders of Siddhirganj thana unit under Narayanganj district over violation of party discipline.

The expelled leaders are vice-president of the BNP chapter SM Aslam and former joint convener TH Tofa.

"They have been expelled from all levels of BNP, including from the party's primary membership over specific allegations of their involvement in activities contradictory to the party discipline, policies and ideals," said a statement signed by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Sunday.
