MANIKGANJ, Aug 12, 2025 (BSS) - Professor Mahfuza Khanam, an educationist and former Vice President (VP) of Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU), died of a heart attack at Holy Family Hospital in Dhaka today.
She was 79.
She was the first and only female VP of DUCSU (1966-67).
Prof Mahfuza left behind her husband, two sons, daughter and a host of well-wishers to mourn her death.
Born in Kolkata on April 14, 1946, Mahfuza Khanam was engaged in teaching and social service throughout her life.
