59 arrested in special operation at Tejgaon division

DHAKA, Aug 13, 2025 (BSS) - To curb crimes, 59 suspects involved in various criminal activities were arrested from crime-prone areas under six police stations of Tejgaon Division in the capital Tuesday. 

The arrestees include Md Sajib Hossain Shanto (21), Md Abdullah (19), Md Hridoy Islam (18), Nazim (22), AM Abdur Rashid (47), Hridoy Hossain (20), Shakil (22), Akash alias Picchi Sohel (22), Rajib (22), Roni (23), Kazi Mahid Ahmed Titu (35), Mohir Uddin (23), Munna (20), Wahid (27), Bakul (50), Md Chan (24), Hossain Ali (35), Mirza Ahmed Ali (49), Masud (30), Md Johnny (27), Md Liton (18), Md Sharif Mollah (40), Md Jamal (50), Md Monir (22), Md Sohag Mia (32), Md Nazmul (19), Md Shakib (20), Md Raymon (26), Md Abdur Rahman (19), Md Sohel Hossain (21), Md Tuhin (18), Md Mehedi Hasan (21), Md Arif Gazi (23), Md Akash (22), Md Khairul (25), Md Rubel (28), Md Muhin (15), Md Mithu (23), Md Naim Islam (19), Md Nazmul Hossain (17), Md Joni Islam (18), Md Sumon (20), Md Mamun Hasan (20), Md Ripon (34), Md Sujan (26), Md Faruk (50), Subel Mia (24), Shuvo Kumar Das (21), Sohan Gazi (19), Md Pakhi Mandal (32), Md Alauddin (56), Md Babul (58), Md Sumon Ali (27), Monir (25), Palash (22), Roni (20), Nahid Mahmud (30), and Md Jewel (30).

The arrested include convicted individuals, drug dealers, professional robbers, thieves, terrorists, accused with warrants, as well as known habitual criminals involved in various crimes, according to a police press release.
