DMP files 2,149 cases drive against traffic rules violation

DHAKA, Aug 14, 2025 (BSS) - The traffic division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed a total of 2,149 cases against motor vehicles and drivers for violating traffic rules in the capital during the last one day.

A total of 331 motor vehicles were dumped and 103 vehicles were wrecked during the campaign against traffic rules violation during the traffic campaign against traffic rules violators on August 13, according to a press release issued today.

The DMP release further said these drives against traffic rule breakers will continue to ensure discipline on Dhaka's streets.
