Dhaka, Aug, 14, 2025 (BSS) - Thirty-five instructors and trainees of the Officers Military Police Course (OMPC)-61 today visited the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) headquarters to receive practical training.

The instructors and trainees of the OMPC-61, which was run by the Corps of Military Police Centre and School (CMPC&S), Savar Cantonment, also visited the Traffic Control Room and National Emergency Number 999 this morning, according to a press release.

DMP Commissioner SM Sazzat Ali, Additional Police Commissioner (Traffic) Md. Sarwar, senior officers of DMP and military were present.

At the beginning of the day, Deputy Police Commissioner of DMP Ramna (Traffic) Division Md Shafiqul Islam made a detailed presentation on operational activities of DMP, crimes in the metropolis, patrol, and search at the conference room of the DMP headquarters.

Earlier, details were presented on the organisational structure of DMP and the implementation of existing laws.

Then, overall activities, including law enforcement of traffic police, digital traffic management, and challenges of traffic police were presented.
