KHULNA, Aug 14, 2025 (BSS) - Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former member of parliament Mia Golam Parwar today said his party want to build a ‘humane Bangladesh’.

"We want to build a humane Bangladesh. For this, everyone must vote in the upcoming polls and send honest leadership to parliament. If we can form a government with honest and qualified leaders, the people will enjoy the benefits of a humane Bangladesh," he said today while speaking as the chief guest at a Hindu community gathering at Banda School and College auditorium in Dumuria upazila in Khulna.

Organized by the Hindu Committee of Vhandarpur Union No.10 in Dumuria Upazila, the event was presided over by Union Hindu Committee President Dr. Nityaranjan Roy.

He added, "No one is a minority in Bangladesh; everyone is entitled to equal dignity as a citizen of the state. Those who have turned people of different faiths into 'minorities' and deprived them of their civic rights are the ones who have tried to reap political benefits."

The event was addressed by Hindu Community General Secretary Ardhendu Mondal, Khulna District Jamaat Secretary Munsi Mizanur Rahman, Assistant Secretary Professor Mia Golam Quddus, District Executive Committee member Advocate Abu Yusuf Molla, and Dumuria Upazila Ameer Maulana Moktar Hossain, among others.
