DHAKA, Aug 14, 2025 (BSS) - To bring police services at the doorsteps of the city dwellers, the filing of all types of GD (general diary) online has been started in all the 50 police stations of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
 
As part of simplifying the police services alongside delivering other services at doorsteps in the fastest and easiest way, the DMP has introduced the facility to register all types of GD online from home, said a DMP press release.
 
Earlier, only GD related to loss and receipt could be done online.
 
To get an online GD service, one can download the ‘Online GD’ App from Google Play Store. In this case, there is no need to register multiple times.
