DHAKA, Aug 15, 2025 (BSS) –  In the ongoing nationwide anti-criminal crackdown, police arrested 1,991 more crime suspects from different parts of the country in the last 24 hours. 

Of the arrestees, 1166 were netted in previous cases while 825 others have been arrested for other criminal charges, said a press release of the police headquarters. 

It said nine round of shotgun bullet, six chapatti, eight knives, a Chinese axe and 13 round cartridge and other locally made weapons were seized during the drive.
