JAMALPUR, Aug 15, 2025 (BSS) - Adviser to BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and former Cabinet Secretary ASM Abdul Halim this afternoon said a conspiracy is being hatched to foil the upcoming general election, but we should remain conscious about it.

He said the BNP is active in the field with its 31-point structural reform programme to build the nation accordingly. He stressed the need to raise public awareness so that no one can foil the election.

He made the remarks while exchanging views with leaders and activists at the grassroots level at the Benuarchar Government Primary School premises in Islampur upazila.

He said the interim government is committed to holding the election in a free, fair, peaceful, and impartial manner, as the past fascist government ruined the election process.

He called upon the people to remain vigilant so that the upcoming general election can be held in a festive mood.

Union BNP leader Sawkat Ali Lal Miah presided over the meeting.
