Doa, milad mahfil at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University on Khaleda Zia's birthday

Dhaka, Aug 16, 2025 (BSS) - On the occasion of the 81st birthday of 'Mother of Democracy', former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, a doa and milad mahfil was organised by Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University unit of Chhatra Dal, seeking her sound health and long life.

Engineer Touhidur Rahman, a member of Sherpur district BNP convening committee and coordinator of the Ziaur Rahman Foundation's Mymensingh division, was present as the chief guest at the event.

University Proctor Dr. Md. Arfan Ali and senior teachers were also present at the Doa Mahfil held on Friday.

Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University unit Chhatra Dal senior vice-president Md. Tariful Islam Tarif, organising secretary Md. Farhad Hossain, former joint general secretary Md. Abdullahil Kafi, agriculturists Mahatir Hasan Antar, Md. Mesbaul Alam, Jibrail Sharif, Shoaib Islam, Abdullah Al Maruf, Md. Morsalin Khandaker Anik, Md. Imran, Md. Takrim, Md. Maruf Hasan, Md. Rabiul Islam, Md. Atiqur Rahman, Md. Arafat Miraj, Md. Naimur Rahman Niloy, Md. Sarwar Jahan, Md. Faisal Abhi, Md. Sohel Rana, Ibrahim Rakib, Ratul Hasan Rumman, Md. Sujon were also present, among others.

After doa and milad mahfil, food was distributed among the poor and destitute people at Gate No. 2 of the university.
