Three stolen motorcycles recovered, one held in Brahmanbaria

DHAKA, Aug 18, 2025 (BSS) - Police in separate raids in Brahmanbaria district recovered three stolen motorcycles and arrested a member of a gang of thieves in the last two days.  
 
The detainee has been identified as Md. Gazi Sujan, 25, said a police press release.
 
According to Khilgaon Police, Mostafizur Rahman had locked his own TVS 4V red motorcycle in front of the garage below his office in Banasree under Khilgaon Police Station on March 25, 2025. Around 5:00pm, he found that the motorcycle was no longer there. 
 
After searching around, he could not find the motorcycle, so he filed a case with Khilgaon Police Station in connection. 
 
Later, the investigating officer in the case, with the help of information technology, conducted a raid in Akanagar area under Bancharampur police station in Brahmanbaria district around 11:00 pm on August 17 last and arrested Gazi Sujan. 
 
Based on the information provided by the arrested Sujan, the police conducted a raid at Dalim Mia's house in Nurjahanpur Madhyapara under Nabinagar police station in Brahmanbaria at 11:30 pm on August 17 last and recovered the stolen TVS 4V red motorcycle.
 
The police also conducted a raid at Nur Mohammad's house in Dharabhanga area under Nabinagar police station in the same district at 12:10 pm today and recovered a black Suzuki Gixxer 150 cc motorcycle and recovered a Pulsar 150 cc black colour motorcycle from the house of Pabitra Boman in Dolaiganj area at 1:15 am today.
