DHAKA, Aug 19, 2025 (BSS) - The Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested the ringleader of the notorious robbery gang in Mohammadpur, Billal alias Bhagne Billal from Savar, on the outskirts of the capital. 

A CTTC team arrested Billal in a raid at Shamlapur area of Sava round 1am today, a police press release said. 

Billal has been wanted in six criminal cases with different police stations including Mohammadpur and Adabor police stations.
