ICSB organises CS Course at Chattogram branch

DHAKA, Aug 27, 2025 (BSS) - The Institute of Chartered Secretaries of 
Bangladesh (ICSB) has organised the orientation programme for the students of 
third Batch (56th Batch) of the Chartered Secretary (CS) Course.

The CS Course was held yesterday at ICSB Chattogram Branch. The inauguration 
session was attended by a good number of students. 

M. Naseemul Hye, president of ICSB, officially inaugurated the third Batch of 
ICSB Chattogram Branch (56th Batch) of the Chartered Secretary (CS) Course, 
said a press release here today.

Hye conveyed a warm welcome to all newly-admitted students and highlighted 
the career prospects of Chartered Secretary profession.

He also urged the students to strive for academic excellence, personal values 
and addressing social concerns. 

The ICSB President also assured that the students have wisely opted for this 
professional qualification.
 
Md. Delowar Hossain, chairman of Chattogram Regional Chapter Sub Committee of 
the Institute, moderated the programme.
 
Welcoming the newly-admitted students to the new chapter of their lives, 
Delowar detailed how this professional qualification would be instrumental in 
their career advancement. 

While delivering the welcome remarks, Abul Fazal Mohamed Rubayat, council 
member and chairman of Education Committee of ICSB, appraised about the 
course and class conducting process.
 
He briefly explained the prospects of the Chartered Secretary profession and 
assured about constant cooperation. He mentioned how the CS profession has 
garnered respect and acceptance worldwide.
 
Other dignitaries, including Fellow and Associate Members, Faculty Members 
like AMM Myeen Uddin Mazumder, Abul Kalam Azad and Dr. Emon Kalyan Chowdhury, 
Faculty Member of ICSB and Professor at Chittagong Independent University 
(CIU) were present, among others, at the orientation programme. 

ICSB Vice-President AKM Mushfiqur Rahman gave the vote of thanks.
