DHAKA, Aug 27, 2025 (BSS)- Police on Tuesday arrested 20 crime suspects in a special operation at different parts of the capital's Mohammadpur thana areas.

Of the detainees, seven accused in a murder case were arrested in a separate operation with the help of the army. 

The arrestees are: Golam Moha Jilani (68), Ramjan (21), Masum (26), Robin (26), Shakib (22), Dipu (25), Sujan (26), Arifur Rahman Rafi (40), Manik (22), Sabbir (30), Sohag (20), Shaon (22), Selim (30), Miraj (20), Rabbi (19), Shamim (19), Shanto (20), Jabed Ali (35), Rifat (19) and Raihan (24). 

During the operation, six sharp samurai, three steel knives, a sharp dagger, TK 5100 in cash, four mobile phone sets and a motorcycle were seized from their possessions, a police press release said .
