DHAKA, Aug 28, 2025 (BSS) - A man was killed today in a road accident in the capital's Bailey Road area under Ramna Police Station.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Abdul Haque, 55, a security guard in a house on Bailey Road, hailed from Charkatalia village under Bakerganj Police Station in Barishal district.
The accident occurred around 11 pm on Wednesday when a CNG-run auto-rickshaw hit him while he was crossing the road in Bailey Road area, police and hospital sources said.
He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where the on-duty doctors declared him dead around 1:45 am today.
