Mason died after being electrocuted in Kamrangirchar

DHAKA, Aug 28, 2025 (BSS) - A mason was electrocuted to death in an under construction building in the capital's Kamrangirchar area on Thursday afternoon.
 
The deceased has been identified as mason Mohammad Ibrahim Hossain,36, son of Wasiuddin, hailed from Baniyakandi Village under Kishoreganj Sadar. He currently lives in a rented house in Kamrangirchar Alinagar area.
 
The accident occurred around 3 pm today when he came into contact with a live wire while working on the third floor of an under-construction building adjacent to Alinagar Fish Market in Kamrangirchar, police and hospital sources said.
 
He was taken to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital in critical condition, where the doctor on duty declared him dead around 4:30 pm today.
