Govt nominates 54 officers for training

DHAKA, Feb 24, 2026 (BSS) – The government has nominated 54 assistant and senior assistant secretaries for five-month long 144th and 145th law and administration training.

“The 144th and 145th law and administration training course will begin from 1 March at Bangladesh Civil Service Administration Academy with residential facility, which will continue until July 30”, according to a ministry notification.

It said the public administration ministry issued the notification in this regard here today signed by deputy secretary Tareq Mohammad Zakaria.

The nominated candidates, with approval of their respective authorities, will have to register online through the Government Employees Training Scheme (GEMS) and the BCS Administration Academy website (https://erp.bcsadminacademy.gov.bd/participant/registration) on or before 26 February, 2026, the notification said. 

“If any necessary candidates can contact with Kazi Mohammad Anik Islam, Research Fellow and Assistant Coordinator (Cell- 01918085574) for 144th Law and Administration course and Tania Bhuiyan, Deputy Director (Research) and Assistant Coordinator (Cell-01757113365) for (145th Law and Administration course,” it said. 

The notification, however, said that the selected candidates will report to the BCS Administration Academy, Shahbag, Dhaka on 28 February, 2026 at 5pm. Otherwise, they will be considered as stand released from March 1, 2026, it said.
