LALMONIRHAT, March 21, 2026 (BSS) - Disaster Management and Relief Minister Asadul Habib Dulu has reiterated his commitment to transforming Lalmonirhat into a modern and model district.
He made the remarks while addressing after offering Eid al-Fitr prayers at the Central Eidgah Maidan at 9am today.
The minister said the trust placed in him by the people is his greatest responsibility. He pledged to work with utmost sincerity to fulfill the public expectations through ongoing development initiatives.
Referring to recent political changes, Dulu noted that this year’s Eid has brought renewed joy and hope among the general public. He called upon everyone to remain united and work collectively for national development.
A special munajat was held after the Eid congregation, seeking peace, progress and prosperity for the country and its people. The prayer was led by Maulana Md. Atikur Rahman.
The minister later exchanged Eid greetings with the devotees where local political leaders, administrative officials and people from all walks of life offered prayers.
