DHAKA, Mar 25, 2026 (BSS) – Hazaribagh Police has arrested 32 people in a day-long special drive conducted in different areas under their authority in the capital on charges of involvement in various crimes.

According to police sources, 30 of the arrestees were detained on allegations of carrying and consuming drugs, while two others were arrested in warrant-related cases during the drive conducted on May 24, a DMP release said here today.

Police said the operation was carried out in several locations under the police station area to maintain law and order.

The arrestees were later produced before the court. Police added that such drives will continue to keep the law and order situation normal in the area.
