DHAKA, April 17, 2026 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-2) arrested two suspects in connection with a murder case in Mohammadpur.

The arrested individuals are Md Asadul Islam, 20, and Md Shawon, 28. They were detained from the Metro Housing area of Bosila in Mohammadpur, said a press release.

The victim, Asadul Haque alias Lambu Asad, 28, was found stabbed to death in the chest and back at the Itkhola area of Mohammadpur on the night of April 16.

Following the incident, a specialized team of RAB-2 conducted a drive and arrested the suspects from the Bosila area, the release said.

The arrested individuals were later handed over to Mohammadpur Police Station for further legal procedures.
