DHAKA, June 22, 2026 (BSS) - The 9th Urban Dialogue 2026 will be held at Lakeshore Hotel in the city on Wednesday. 

Urban INGO Forum, Bangladesh is going to arrange the national-level dialogue bringing together policymakers, practitioners, academics and community representatives to discuss pressing urban challenges and solutions in Bangladesh.

The theme of this year's dialogue is "Policies to Action: Transforming Cities for People", focusing on translating urban policies into practical actions that ensure inclusive, equitable, and sustainable urban development, said a press release. 

The dialogue will feature a series of keynote presentations, panel discussions, and thematic sessions covering affordable housing and equitable urban services; inclusive urban livelihoods and social protection; climate-resilient and nature-based urban development and
implementation of the National Urban Policy 2025 and related frameworks.

The event will bring together key stakeholders including government officials, development partners, urban practitioners, and community representatives, offering important insights and stories relevant to national urban development discourse.
