Bangladesh women concede 3-1 again to UAE

DHAKA, March 3, 2025 (BSS)-Bangladesh women's national football team again conceded a 3-1 goal defeat to the host United Arab Emirates (UAE) women's football team in the second and ultimate Int'l friendly match held at the UAE Football Association (pitch 1) ground in Dubai on Sunday night.

The winners led the first half by 2-0 goals. In the second encounter, Afeida again netted for Bangladesh from the spot in the second half to reduce the margin after the hosts took a 3-0 lead.

Earlier, Bangladesh lost the first friendly by an identical 3-1 margin at the same venue on Wednesday, with Afeida also scoring the lone goal from a penalty.

The Bangladesh women's football team is expected to return home from the UAE today.
