23 Bangladeshi cricketers register for SA T20

DHAKA, Aug 26, 2025 (BSS)—A total of 23 Bangladeshi cricketers have registered their names for the upcoming SA T20 tournament auction, scheduled to be held in Johannesburg on September 9.

The tournament authority didn’t release the name of the Bangladesh players. 

A total of 782 players have put on their names for the auction in the South Africa’s flagship T20 tournament. However, only 84 slots are up for availability.
 
The tournament management revealed that a total of 328 players from South Africa, 153 from England, 50 West Indies, 40 Pakistanis, 36 Sri Lankans, 27 Afghans, 24 Americans, 13 Indians, 11 each from the UAE and Scotland, 10 from Zimbabwe, Ireland and Netherlands, 9 from New Zealand, 5 from Namibia, 3 each from Australia, Nepal and Canada, 1 each from Cambodia, Uganda and Malaysia  have entered into the auction.
 
The fourth edition of the tournament will run from December 26, 2025 to January 25, 2026.
