Bangladesh hockey team hold first training

DHAKA, Aug 27, 2025 (BSS)-The Bangladesh national men's hockey team completed 
first training today (Wednesday) ahead of the Asia Cup Hockey 2025 in India.

All the players are fit and healthy and will hold their second training 
session tomorrow (Thursday), according to a message received here from 
Bangladesh Hockey Federation this evening.

The hockey team also played a practice match against Kazakhstan as part of 
preparation for the Asia Cup. 

The Asia Cup Hockey is scheduled to be held from August 29 to September 7 in 
Rajgir, Bihar -- an eastern state in India.

Bangladesh will start their tournament campaign by taking on Malaysia August 
29, before facing Chinese Taipei on August 30 and record five-time champions 
South Korea on September 1.

All the matches will be held at the Bihar Sports University Hockey Stadium in 
Rajgir.
