DHAKA, Aug 27, 2025 (BSS)-Mohammad Mithun will lead Khulna Division in the 
second edition of NCL T20, set to be held in September.

Nurul Hasan Sohan who led Khulna in the first edition of the tournament made 
a way into the national team after three years for Asia Cup. 

He, therefore, won't take part in the tournament, prompting Khulna to choose 
new captain.

Khulna also will be bolstered by the inclusion of Anamul Haque Bijoy and 
Soumya Sarkar. Mehidy Hasan Miraz who is in the standby list for the Asia Cup 
is likely to play if he is not eventually called up for the regional 
tournament.

Youngster Sheikh Parvez Jibon, Mrittunjoy Chowhdury, veteran Ziaur Rahman are 
also likely to be the part of the Khulna squad.
