SAFF U-17: Bangladesh face Bhutan in return match tomorrow

DHAKA, Aug 28, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh U-17 women's football team will face host Bhutan in their return match of four-nation SAFF U-17 Women's Championship at Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu tomorrow.

The match will kicks off at 3 pm Bangladesh time. India will meet Nepal in the second match of the day's fixture at 6 pm at the same venue. 

Bangladesh stand second position in the league table with six nine from four matches while Bhutan failed to open their account playing the same number of matches. India dominates the league table maintaining their all-win record with twelve points playing the same number of outings.  

Earlier, Bangladesh made winning start in the tournament beating host Bhutan 3-1, but lost to India by 2-0 goals. The girls in red and green however returned winning streak by defeating Nepal by 3-0 goals and again 4-1 in the return match. 
 
On the other hand, Bhutan lost all their four matches so far. They suffered 3-1 to Bangladesh, 1-2 to Nepal, 8-0 to India and again 5-0 to India and already eliminated from the competition race.
