DHAKA, Aug 29, 2025 (BSS)- The July Revolution Fencing Championship has begun at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the capital today (Friday).

Youth and Sports Secretary Mahbub Ahmed was the chief guest in the opening ceremony.

Bangladesh Fencing Federation (BFF) president Major General (retd) Qamrul Islam, its general secretary Bosunia M Ashikul Islam, executive member Shofiqur Rahman and sponsor Rakson Motor Bikes Limited director Kazi Ashikur Rahman were also present in the opening ceremony.

Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy, Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Party, Border Guard Bangladesh, Private Universities and clubs are taking part in the two-day meet organized by BFF.

Nearly 175 men and women fencers from Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy, Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Party, Border Guard Bangladesh, Private Universities and clubs are taking part in the three individual events of the two-day meet, organized by BFF.
