BCB announces U-19 squad for England ODIs

DHAKA, Aug 30, 2025 (BSS) - The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) today announced a 15-member squad for the five-match Under-19 One-Day International (ODI) series against England.

The youngsters will visit England next month as part of their preparation for the upcoming U-19 World Cup.

The team will leave Dhaka tomorrow for London. From there, they will travel to Loughborough by train.

Bangladesh will start the tour with a warm-up match against Ireland on September 3 at Loughborough, which will also host the first two youth ODIs on September 5 and 7. The third ODI will take place in Bristol on September 10. Beckenham will host the last two matches on September 12 and 14.

The team will leave London on September 15 and is scheduled to reach Dhaka the following day.

Zawad Abrar, Azizul Hakim Tamim, Samiun Basir Ratul, Debashis Sarkar Deba, Rizan Hossain, Al Fahad, Shadhin Islam, Mohammad Abdullah, Farid Hasan Faysal, Kalam Siddiki Aleen, Sanjid Mozumder, Rifat Beg, Shahriar Al Amin, Saad Islam Razin, Farhan Shahriar. 

Standby: Ahmed Shahriar, Farzan Ahmed, Alif, Shahriar Azmir, Rafi Uzzaman Rafi, Mohammad Sobuj.
