DHAKA, Aug 31, 2025 (BSS)- Netherlands batter Noah Croes said that his side 
will leave no stone unturned to win the second game in a bid to stay alive in 
the three-match T20 International against Bangladesh.

The hosts lead the series 1-0 following their eight-wicket victory in the 
first match and will be favorites in the second game too. 

But speaking to the reporters today in Sylhet, Cores said they trust in their 
ability to make a strong comeback.

"We think the camp has really great belief, and as I said before, taking some 
really good lessons from last night and we really think our best cricket can 
stack up against Bangladesh. So, there is no reason why we can't get a series 
win," Croes added.

The second T20 match begins tomorrow (Monday) at the Sylhet International 
Cricket Stadium. 

Bangladesh, however, dominated the Dutch side thoroughly in the first game 
and chased down the 137-run target with 39 balls to spare. Taskin Ahmed paved 
the platform of the victory with 4-28 that helped the side restrict 
Netherlands to meager 136-8.

Captain Liton Das then led the charge with an unbeaten 29 ball-54 and was 
ably supported by Saif Hasan's 19 ball-36 not out.
 
Croes said Bangladesh bowlers bowled well in tandem to make their life 
difficult. 

"Credit goes to the Bangladesh bowling. I think if they challenge us with 
something we can prepare for in those conditions, they're very clear on their 
approach and know exactly what they want to do. For us as a batting group, 
it's simply about executing our plans more effectively," he added.

Citing Bangladesh bowling as a high-calibre attack, Croes said, they are 
eager to thwart the hosts.

"They're top-quality bowlers, each bringing something different to the table. 
With their franchise experience, it's been a great learning opportunity for 
us," he continued.

"That's why we're here training today-working on our plans-and it's exciting 
to have another two chances to test ourselves against such a high-calibre 
attack."

"Experience is priceless. Having that as a reference point when facing 
players of such calibre puts us in a strong position to deliver a solid 
performance and showcase the skills we've been working hard to develop," he 
said.
