Bangladesh face Yemen tomorrow

DHAKA, Sept 5, 2025 (BSS)-Bangladesh U-23 football meet Yemen in their crucial second group C match of the AFC U-23 Asian Cup qualification scheduled to be held at Phu Tho provincial stadium in Vietnam tomorrow (Saturday).
The match kicks off at 3 pm Bangladesh time.

Bangladesh must have to win against Yemen to stay in the tournament race. 

Earlier, Bangladesh U-23 football made a losing start as they suffered a 2-0 goal defeat to host Vietnam in their group opening match.

Bangladesh U-23 football team will play their remaining group matches against Singapore on September 6 and September 9 respectively.

Forty four Asian teams, split into eleven groups, are taking  part in the meet.

Later, eleven group champion teams, four best group runners-up and hosts Saudi Arabia will play in the 16-team final round to be held in Saudi Arabia in January next year.
