Olympic solidarity sport administrators’ course held

DHAKA, Sept 11, 2025 (BSS)- The 'Olympic Solidarity Sport Administrators Course' concluded at the divisional sports complex in Sylhet today (Thursday), said a Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) press release. 

A total of twenty five trainees, including trainers, organizers, and sports teachers, from various schools, colleges, and Sylhet divisional and district sports associations of Sylhet division participated in the four-day course held under the overall supervision of the Bangladesh Olympic Association and under the management of the Divisional Sports Association, Sylhet and under the patronization of International Olympic Committee's Olympic Solidarity.

The course covered in detail the responsibilities and duties of all concerned, including enhancing the skills of participants in managing sports activities. The course also shed light on the Olympic Movement and the values of Olympism.
Khan Md. Reza-un-Nabi, Divisional Commissioner of Sylhet Division and Convener of the Ad Hoc committee of Sylhet Divisional Sports Association, was present as the chief guest at the closing ceremony and distributed the certificates among the participants.
Members, officials and other dignitaries of the Sylhet Divisional Sports Association were present at the closing ceremony.
